Nature: Automatic Fire Alarm

On Thursday morning, January 14th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm incident on Plaza Drive at the Dollar Tree Store.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Ladder 80 and Chief 80-15 from the Oak Orchard area and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included site evaluation and investigation to identify the search of the alarm incident.

The incident was determined to be a HVAC contractor working on the system.  The overall incident was placed under control and all responding units were authorized to return.
