Congratulatory Comments for Jacob Klingler - Receives NREMT Certification
The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company would like to offer these congratulatory comments to recognize Jacob Klingler for recently completing the Delaware Emergency Medical Technician coursework passing the Delaware EMT Certification requirements as well as successfully completing his National Registry Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) certification.
In June 2020, Jacob graduated high school and aspires to be a professional firefighter / paramedic.
Jacob pursued this desired training via the Delaware State Fire School which provides the National Registry Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) course that meets the National EMS Education Standards published guidelines. The course curriculum provided the student with in-depth knowledge and skill-based training to appropriately assess, stabilize, monitor, and transport pre-hospital patients. Students are required to spend time in a clinical setting with actual time based upon student progress. Students successfully completing this course and the NREMT practical examination may sit for the National Registry exam, which is the cognitive examination approved by the State for EMT certification.
Jacob successfully completed the certification requirements after completing his EMT course earlier in the month of December 2020.
Congratulations and best wishes with your aspirations to be firefighter / paramedic.
