Nature: Wires Down/Arcing

Location: On Banks 1/4 Mile Past

Banks Rd and Long Neck Rd Millsboro, DE 19966

On December 24^, 2020, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an electrical hazard on Banks Road in the area of Baywood Turf Management facility.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included identification of incident response, notification of utility service provider and debris removal the roadway.

It appears that a tree that had fallen and caused extensive damage to the top of the utility pole. The utility service provider - Delaware Electric was notified of the incident and units returned shortly thereafter.
