Nature: Vehicle Fire Upgraded to Structure Fire – Assist Milton (85)

Early Sunday morning, December 13^th, the Indian River (80), Lewes (82) and Millsboro (83)  fire companies were alerted to assist the Milton (85) Fire Company with a vehicle fire upgraded to a structure fire on Harbeson Road.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility.

The initial incident alert was a vehicle fire on Harbeson Road in the Harbeson area.  First arriving firefighters from Milton encountered a fully involved truck with fire extending to a single-story home.  Crews were able to initial an aggressive fire attack limiting the spread of the fire.  All other responding units were cancelled while responding.

The Delaware State Fire Marshal is investigating.
