Nature: Fire Prevention Program Activities

Address: Grotto’s Pizza – Long Neck & Community Church of Oak Orchard

On Saturday, March 23rd, the Fire Prevention Committee of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company provided various fire prevention awareness programs throughout the community.

(1) Community Church of Oak Orchard, Delaware hosted their Annual Spring Activities in order to recognize the pending Easter Holiday and the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company participated with various fire prevention awareness activities including fire truck rides.

(2) Long Neck Car Show hosted by Grotto’s Pizza on Long Neck Road held their annual event and the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company participated with numerous units for fire prevention awareness. Activities include Patches, Polaris 80, Antique Engine #80-3 and the Fire Prevention Operations Unit. The proceeds from this event benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Oak Orchard/Riverdale.
