Nature: Vehicle Accident BLS

Location: In The Area Of (ITAO) Friendship UMC

On Saturday March 9th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on Friendship Road immediately down from the Friendship United Methodist Church location. It was reported to be a single vehicle collision involving a tree.

Emergency response units included: Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility.   Everything else was to remain at their respective station .

Emergency response assignments were to mitigate the situation, evaluate the occupants of the vehicle and assist with the concerns. One person located in the bed of the pick up at the time of the mishap was transportted to nearby medical facilities for an additional observation.

The Delaware State Police were on location of the incident to invesitage the accident but the fact that the driver fled the vehicle after the collision as well as the possibility of the rightful owner was missing their vehicle.
