Nature: Recovery After Wintery Mix of Weather

Address: Oak Orchard – Station #1

On Thursday morning, March 7th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company attempts to return to some degree of normalcy and enjoy a day of warm, sunny weather after the recent pounding of high winds, tides, and wintery conditions.

As illustrated here in the photographs behind Station 1 in Oak Orchard, even the ducks and geese were enjoying the significant change of weather as they enjoyed a moment in the spotlight.

Much of Indian River’s fire district suffered excessive, but not abnormal, tidal flooding conditions and high winds that may have negatively impacted structure composition by tearing shingles, siding, etc. but overall we have encountered much worse.
