Tuesday January, 8 2013 @ 12:15:43 Nature: Vehicle Accident BLS Address: John J Williams Hwy & Layton Davis Road, Millsboro, DE 19966 On Tuesday afternoon, January 8th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a personal injury vehicle accident on John J. Williams Highway at the intersection of Layton Davis Road. It was reported to be a two vehicle collision with minor damage and limited injuries, if any. Emergency response units included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-5 from the Long Neck facility. Emergency response crew assignments included: vehicle stabilization, patient stabilization, scene stabilization, debris recovery, and traffic control. It appears that a Honda CRX was attempting to turn onto Layton Davis Road from John J. Williams Highway and was struck by a Jeep Liberty causing damage to both vehicles. The Delaware State Fire Police provided traffic control assistance for the duration of the incident. The Delaware State Police are investigating.
