Friday January, 4 2013 @ 18:19:01 Nature: Vehicle Accident BLS Address: 26582 John J Williams Hwy Millsboro, DE 19966 On Friday evening, January 4th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a second alarm in the district and dispatch for a vehicle collision at the intersection of John J. Williams Hwy. and Bay Farm Road. It appears that a small SUV and a small compact collided in a rear end type collision very minimal damage Emergency response units included Engine #80-5 and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police. Indian River’s other emergency response apparatus remained on-scene at a previous motor vehicle collision on John J. Williams Highway. Emergency response assignments were to identify and mitigate the incident at hand with patient assessment and stabilization, if needed; vehicle stabilization, if needed; and traffic control assistance for the duration of the incident. The occupants of the vehicles refused any additional evaluation or observation. The Delaware State Police are investigating.
