On Wednesday, December 26th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company hosted its traditional monthly training exercises; however, the December Training is usually a hospitality and social evening for the volunteers of the fire line operations. This evening’s event is to place emphasis on teamwork and collaboration while sharing various seafood (shrimp and oysters) as well as other lite refreshments. The event is traditionally hosted by the Fire Chief as an expression of appreciation to the volunteers. The evening activities were attended by approximately 38 persons. |
