Nature: Structure Fire (Standby / Cover Up Assignment) Location: Station #83 – Millsboro

Address: 30702 - 30723 Fire Tower Dagsboro, DE 19939

On Sunday evening, December 16th, the Dagsboro and Millsboro fire companies were alerted for a working structure fire on Fire Tower Road just off of Iron Branch Road.

Upon notification of Dagsboro’s emergency response units, it was identified that fire could be seen while traveling to the incident location and requested that Millsboro (83) and Frankford (76) fire companies be alerted to assist with specific task assignments.

The Indian River (80) Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to assign a one engine cover up assignment for Millsboro for the duration of the incident.

The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office investigating the incident.
