On Tuesday, August 4^th as Tropical Storm Isaias passed through the area, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company and many neighboring fire companies were alerted for a multitude of incidents associated with the inclement weather. 

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80, Rescue 80, Engines #80-1 and 80-3, Brush 80-00, Ladder 80, Command 80, and Chief 80.  Many of the incidents were delegated to apparatus already on the street.

Illustrated herewith are a variety of photographs to illustrate some of the incident responses.

For the most part, the damage associated with this Tropical Storm Isaias would be considered moderate and mostly associated with downed wires and fallen trees.  While these incidents could be catastrophic for the property owner our region faired relatively good from the effects of the inclement weather.  There was extremely minimal tidal flooding conditions.
