Nature: Vehicle Accident

Address: Banks Road, Millsboro, DE 19966

On Friday afternoon, September 28th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was notified of a second vehicle accident on Banks Road while mitigating an earlier motorcycle accident.

It appears that a fire police officer was responding to an earlier alarm and collided with another vehicle.

Emergency response units included: Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility.

Emergency response personnel were assigned to assist with vehicle stabilization, if needed and provide scene preservation and traffic control for the duration of the incident.

There were no injuries associated with the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
