Nature: Vehicle Accident ALS

Address: John J Williams Hwy & Hollymount Road, Millsboro, DE 19966

On Friday afternoon, September 28th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company, the Sussex County Paramedics and the local ambulance service provider were alerted for a personal injury vehicle accident involving a motorcycle at or near the intersection of John J. Williams Highway and Hollymount Road (State Road 48).

It appears that the motorcyclist was attempting to turn onto eastbound John J. Williams Highway and collided with an SUV.

Emergency response units included: Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-5 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crew were assigned to assist with patient care where needed, provide scene preservation and traffic control for the duration of the incident.

One patent was transferred to nearby medical facilities.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control at the intersection for the duration of the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
