On Sunday, June 14th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for five emergency incidents and one service call incident which are illustrated above and linked to incident synopsis where applicable.

While returning from the emergency medical incident in Stonewater Creek, Engine #80-1 was requested to assistance with the extrication of gaggle of ducklings from a stormwater drain at the Wawa on John J. Williams Highway.

Fire company personnel were able to remove the storm drain cover and pull out the ducklings which were quickly united with their mother for further transportation elsewhere.

All units were able to clear and return to quarters after this service call.
