Nature: Structure Fire – Assist Rehoboth Beach

Early Wednesday, June 3rd, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to assist the Rehoboth Beach Fire Company with a working structure fire on Wolfe Neck Road off Coastal Highway. It was reported to be fire showing upon arrival of Rehoboth’s emergency response units.
Additional companies alerted for the assistance included: Lewes (82) Fire Department to the incident location with many others required for standby assistance.
Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility.
Emergency response crew assignments included the manpower, fire suppression, and overhaul activities.
The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
