Nature: Fire Police – Assist Delaware State Police - Traffic Control

Location: Baywood Greens (80) - John J Williams Hwy and Baywood Green, Millsboro, DE 19966

On Saturday evening, May 30^th, the Delaware State Fire Police assigned to the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company were alerted to assist the Delaware State Police with traffic control as a result of a property damage vehicle accident on John J. Williams Highway.

It appears that a Dodge pick up with large camper trailer in tow was traveling on John J. Williams Highway in the area of Baywood Green and lost control for an unknown reason.  The truck and camper remained connected traveling off into the shoulder and golf course embankment causing significant damage to both units. There was another motor vehicle involved in the incident as well.

The Delaware State Fire Police were requested to assist the Delaware State Police with traffic control and roadway closure of John J. Williams Highway during the clean up process. 

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
