On Monday, August 27th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company is saddened to announce the passing of Raymond E. Collas.

Ray joined the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company in January, 1998 and served as a volunteer firefighter, Board of Director, Treasurer, and Captain of Indian River’s Fire Police Operations.  Ray passed away peacefully on Monday, August 27th, 2012 at his residence.  

The specific funeral arrangements awill be on Friday, August 31, 2012 @ Melson's Long Neck Chapel commencing at 10 a.m. with the funeral service at 11 a.m.  Interment will conclude after the final service at the Veteran's Cemetery in Georgetown, Delaware.

Ray will be missed by his friends of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company, as well as his family and friends.
