Delaware Burn Camp Monday, August 13ththru Saturday, August 18th Camp Barnes Facility, Roxana, Delaware On Tuesday, August 14th and Wednesday, August 15th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company assisted the Delaware Burn Camp with the following initiatives. As many Delaware volunteer fire companies and auxiliaries coordinated the breakfast, lunch and dinner meals for the Delaware Burn Camp patrons, counselors and staff during camp week. On Tuesday, August 14th, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company prepared breakfast and lunch the Delaware Burn Camp program. On Wednesday, August 15th, the fire company assisted with the water recreational activities by providing assistance marine unit launching, monitoring and just helping where needed. The evening activities included recreational watercraft rides via pontoon boats on the Assawoman Bay. John Lattomus, Director of the Delaware Burn Camp was very appreciative of the efforts from the Delaware fire service.
