Thursday July, 5 2012 @ 00:29:55 Nature: Brush Fire Location: Bay Shore Address: 32259 Pelican Ct Millsboro, DE 19966 Early Thursday morning, July 5th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a brush fire in the Bay Shore development near the roadway of the pool. Emergency response units included: Brush #80-0 from the Long Neck facility and Brush #80-00 & Engine #80-2 from the Oak Orchard facility. Incident Command 80 responded from the Riverdale area. Incident reports provided more concise directions to the Bay Shore service road area near the retention pond. It was identified to be a brush fire surrounding the retention pond. Emergency crew assignments where to advance booster lines, providing scene lighting, and extinguish the area impacted by the fire.
