DelDOT Recommendations for Indian Mission Road / Harmon's Hill Road / Phillips Branch Road

Delaware State Senator Brian Pettyjohn offers the following information after receiving numerous calls, emails and observing issues firsthand, concerns about the intersections at State Route 5 – Indian Mission Road / Harmons Hill / Phillips Branch Road were brought to DelDOT.

The Delaware Department of Transportation was asked for assistance in making these areas safer to travel.

State Senator Pettyjohn has been advised that DelDOT has completed their analysis of these intersections.  At the current time, DelDOT recommends 4-way stops at each of these locations as a short-term solution. DelDOT will continue working on long-term needs for these intersections. More information on the improvements will be outlined in a future public meeting.

DelDOT recognizes that these intersections are a major concern and they are hopeful that these corrections will improve the safety of these areas.
