Wednesday, May, 16 2012 Facility Upgrades - Buildings & Grounds Operations (continued) Address: Station #1 – Oak Orchard Facility On Wednesday, May 16th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company continued with facility enhancement efforts to ameliorate its operational efficiency by progressing to another phase of the modernization project. This tree clearing and underbrush removal effort is being coordinated by Complete Tree Care of Millsboro which was retained to perform these designated tasks. This initiative will be one of many ancillary enhancements that will be coordinated at the Oak Orchard facility within the immediate foreseeable future. These aforementioned enhancements include: • New Well and Pump System – Enhanced Fire Truck Filling Capabilities; • Relocation of Utility Poles and Fire Siren; • Relocation of Utility LP tanks • Construction and Installation of Walk in Refrigerator and Freezers; and • Construction and Enlargement of Kitchen Pantry Operations for Catering and Fundraising Functions.
