Nature: Mother’s Day Breakfast Event

On Sunday morning, May 13th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company commenced with its traditional Mother’s Day Breakfast Buffet which is an annual fundraising event.

Indian River's All You Can Eat Breakfast Buffets are hosted monthly during the months of April; Mother’s Day – May; Father's Day – June; July; August; September; and October.

The serving time of these events is 7:30 a.m. until 11 a.m., and the location is at Station 1 - 32628 Oak Orchard Road.

The prices are: $8 per person with children prices being (4-12 years of age) - $3.50 and children under 3 free.

All proceeds benefit the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company.

The breakfast events have become a traditional event of fun, hospitality and good food for our community residents, local supporters and various politicos that mingle with the participants.

The staff of the breakfast events is a joint collaborative effort with the fire company personnel and Ladies Auxiliary.

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company wishes to acknowledge the tremendous amount of support provided and we thank you for your patronage.

Another element of hospitality was the attendance of a contingency of fellow firefighter and ladies auxiliary members from the Lower Chichester Fire Department attended the Mother's Day Breakfast Event in hope of seeing first hand our operation. These attendees toured the fire house and kitchen operation to gain insight into future facility expansion ideas for their home station.
