Thursday May, 10 2012 @ 20:02:58 Nature: Wash down (Fuel Spill) Address: 26171 - 26213 John J Williams Hwy. @ Dollar General, Millsboro, DE 19966 On Thursday evening, May 10th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a wash down incident involving a pickup truck that was apparently leaking gasoline in the shopping center of Dollar General. Emergency response units included: Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility; Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck Facility and the Delaware State Fire Police. Emergency response crews were designated to evaluate the situation, spread stay dry to mitigate and absorb the fluid. It was determined that the reported fuel leak was not creditable. All units were permitted to return to station.
