Nature: Vehicle Accident

Location: Pot Nets Rd and Long Neck Rd, Millsboro, DE 19966

On Friday, January 10^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company and the local emergency medical provider were alerted for a vehicle accident on Long Neck Road near the entrance to Pot Nets Road.  It was reported to be a two-vehicle collision.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck area and Utility 80-11 and Chief 80-15 from the Oak Orchard area as well as the Delaware State Fire Police. 

Emergency response crew assignments include vehicle stabilization, traffic control, fluid and debris recovery and incident mitigation activities.

It appears that two sport utility vehicles collided at or near the intersection of Long Neck Road and Pot Nets Road causing extensive front-end damage to both vehicles.  One of the vehicle occupants was transported to nearby medical facilities for non-life threatening injuries.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the duration of the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
