Nature: Structural Fire Training Evolutions

Location: Delaware State Fire School – Georgetown Campus (Sussex Division)

On Wednesday evening, March 28th, the Indian River scheduled the Delaware State Fire School – Georgetown Campus for Structural Fire Training Evolutions.

These evolutions include: interior fire suppression tactics, interior hose handling tactics, self contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) awareness techniques; ladder truck awareness and operational items; rescue truck awareness; engine pumper awareness; and support service operational awareness – filling of SCBA bottles. Other educational topics included fire characteristics and behavior, fire suppression safety concerns, and personal protective gear inspections.
