Nature: Preparation Activities for Chicken & Dumpling Dinner

Address: Station #1 – Oak Orchard Road, Millsboro, DE

On Saturday, March 24th, members of the Ladies Auxiliary and Fire Company collaborated and commenced with preparation activities for the pending chicken and dumpling dinner.

These dinner activities serve as a vital revenue source for the volunteer fire company and provide community awareness for our operational objectives of the volunteer fire company.  These events also serve as an opportunity to solicit sales for fire company apparel.  

The menu of the chicken & dumpling dinner include mashed potatoes, stuffing (dressing), green beans, coleslaw, beets, cranberry sauce, rolls, and beverage.

The preparations include the process of making much of the menu items from scratch.

The Chicken and Dumpling events for the season are scheduled as follow:  Saturday Evenings (4 p.m. – 7 p.m.)

Prices include:

• Adults - $12.00 per person ($22 per couple – purchase 1week in advance)

• Children – (5-11 years of age) - $6.00 (under 4) – free of charge.
