Nature: Carbon Monoxide Detector

Early Saturday morning of February 4^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for carbon monoxide detector activation at 34441 High Tide Drive South, Pot Nets Creekside, in Long Neck.

Incident response included Engine #80-1 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility.  Crews were requested to retrieve the gas detectors and monitor the CO levels inside the residential structure.

It was determined to be faulty batteries in the detection device.
