Location: Rehoboth Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, DE

On Sunday, October 5, 2019, the Indian River (80) was invited to participate in the Rehoboth Beach (86) VFC’s Annual Fire Prevention Day.

Children of all ages are welcome to attend. Everyone can come see the firetrucks, firefighters, police officers, EMTs, and many more of the public servants that work hard every day to help keep you and your families safe.

The 2019 Fire Safety Campaign Theme "NOT EVERY HERO WEARS A CAPE - Plan and Practice your Escape."

Adults and children of all ages should plan their family escape from a fire and practice regularly to make sure it works and that everyone understands their role in getting everybody out of the residence safely. In addition, one can learn about Home Fire Sprinklers and the importance of "Close the Door" when it comes to fires in today's homes.

Illustrated herewith are various photographs of the events and activities.
