Nature: East Coast Garden Center’s Touch-A-Truck Event Hosts Fire Prevention & Safety Awareness Demonstrations & Discussions

As Fire Prevention Month commences with October, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was been attending various community gatherings spreading the word regarding Fire Prevention, Fire Safety, and general Safety Awareness overall.

On Saturday, October 5th, Indian River attended East Coast Garden Center’s “Touch a Truck” event with presentation regarding fire prevention and safety awareness.  Indian River’s 1968 Mack R Model pumper was on display for all interested parties to enjoy.  This annual event hosts a multitude of fire responders and equipment for the patrons to enjoy.
