Saturday October, 5 2019Nature: Structure Fire Revolutions Training – Control Burn ScenarioLocation: Milton Fire DepartmentOn Saturday, October 5th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was invited to participate in training evolutions and then an organized control burning of a donated residential structure.Firefighters were able to participate in multiple training evolutions with interior and exterior assignments and scenarios in order to hone their fire suppression, ventilation, and overhaul tactics and techniques as well as learn the stages and evolution of fire.After the training evolutions were completed the residential structure was burned in order to prepare for demolition requirements.The Milton (85) Fire Department hosted this event.Additional training evolutions and information can be viewed at http://www.milton85.com/gallery/detail?id=37242 |
