Saturday December, 17 2011 Nature: Stand-by Assignment Address: Wilmington Manor Fire Company On Saturday afternoon, December 17th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire was asked to provide a stand-by coverage assignment for the Wilmington Manor Fire Company in New Castle, Delaware in order to allow Wilmington Manor to attend their annual appreciation banquet and officer installation ceremonies. Approximately 10 firefighters volunteered for this assignment and traveled to New Castle County. It is anticipated that the stand-by assignment will be for the hours of 1 p.m. Saturday to approximately 9 a. Sunday.
