Indian River Mourns the Passing of Nicholas J. Golden

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company regrets to announce that one of it’s members – Nicholas J. Golden has passed away recently on August 31, 2019.

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company wishes to offer its condolences and deepest gratitude to the families and loved ones of Nick.  We wish to offer the Golden Family and extended families and friends our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Nick served in the Delaware Fire Service for six (6) years for the Odessa fire Company prior to joining Indian River in June 2019.  Nick also served two years in the Delaware Air National Guard.

A celebration of life service will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at the Doherty Funeral Home, 3200 Limestone Road, Wilmington, DE 19808, where family and friends may visit beginning at 2 p.m. Interment will be private.
