Tuesday October, 25 2011 President - Sussex County Fire Chief's Association (Steven C. Deery, Jr.) On Tuesday evening, October 25th 2011, Indian River’s Fire Chief was sworn in as the newly elected President of the Sussex County Fire Chief’s Association as the installation ceremonies held at the Cape Henlopen High School. The Sussex County Fire Chief’s Association is one of the five support organizations to the Delaware Volunteer Firefighter’s Association (DVFA) and Steven has served Second Vice President in 2009 and First Vice President in 2010. Steven’s term of office commences immediately and run through October 2012. The Sussex County Fire Chief’s Association is focal point for all volunteer fire companies within the county and state.
