Sunday October, 9 2011 @ 08:30:39 Nature: Elevator/Escalator Rescue Location: Building # 2 Elevator Address: 33558 Windswept Dr Millsboro, DE 19966 On Sunday morning, October 9th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an elevator rescue on Windswept Drive in the Peninsula. It was reported to have the elevator car occupied by an elderly male subject and his pet canine. Emergency response units included: Ladder 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Nek facility. Immediately upon arrival of the emergency response units, the occupants of the elevator were able to free themselves. The Wilgus Property Management Personnel were onsite.
