Nature: Oak Orchard-Riverdale Fall Festival

On Saturday, October 1st, the Oak Orchard-Riverdale Fall Festival continued with its carnival activities. This is a joint venture with the American Legion Post #28 and the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company.
Various members of the Ladies Auxiliary of Indian River; members of the Indian River fire company, and American Legion chaperoned the day’s activities to raise operating funds for both organizations. The highlights of Saturday’s activities included the carnival activities, a live band to entertain the patrons of the fall festival; bar BINGO; a dunkin booth; hot dog eatin’ contest; fire prevention activities; and many other events.
The food court continued to be operated by the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion and Fire Company.
