Friday September, 2 2011 @ 18:37:46 Nature: Vehicle Accident ALS Address: Cannon Rd & Mount Joy Rd Millsboro, DE 19966 On Friday afternoon, September 2nd, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on Cannon Road near Mount Joy Road. It was reported to be an accident involving a motor scooter. Upon arrival of emergency response apparatus, it was verified that a new yellow scooter type vehicle was traveling east on Cannon Road and lost control for an unknown reason causing the scooter and motorcyclist to travel onto the grassy shoulder. The scooter and motorcyclist but rolled into the grassy area. The motorcyclist was transferred to nearby medical facilities for additional evaluation. The Delaware State Police are investigating.
