Saturday August, 27 2011 @ approximately 20:00 hours Nature: Survey Fire District Locations: Oak Orchard & Riverdale Identified herewith are various photographs of the Indian River’s area of response at approximately 8 p.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2011. The photographs are the result of surveying the following areas within our fire district: Oak Orchard; Riverdale as well as responding to various trees down and wires down concerns. At the 8 p.m. survey, various tidal conditions were starting to cuase minor flooding concerns on River Road in the vicinity of Whit’s Point; Chief’s Road & River Road; River Road & Nanticoke Avenue; as well as River Road & Oak Orchard Road. The flooding concerns were sufficient to cause concern; however, the flooding is clearly protruding into low lying areas of our fire district.
