Wednesday August, 24 2011 @ 17:12:37 Nature: Washdown (Fuel Spill) Location: Harris Teeter Parking Lot Address: 26191 John J Williams Hwy Millsboro, DE 19966 On Wednesday evening August 24th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a wash down assignment as a result of a fuel spill in the Harris Teeter Parking lot off of John J. Williams Highway. Emergency response units included Engine #80-3 from our Long Neck facility and Rescue 80 from our Oak Orchard facility. Mitigation measures included disbursing absorbents and assisting with containment of the fuel spillage within the vehicle’s storage compartments.
