Tuesday August, 16 2011 @ 17:58:02 Nature: Vehicle Accident ALS Location: itao Mariners Cove Address: Long Neck Rd Millsboro, DE 19966 On Tuesday evening, August 16th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a minor vehicle accident involving a scooter on Long Neck Road in the area of Mariner’s Cove. It was reported a person was riding a motorized scooter and lost control for an unknown reason. The operator of the scooter fell off of the scooter and needed additional pre-hospital evaluations. Emergency apparatus responded from our Long Neck (Engine #80-5) and Oak Orchard (Rescue 80) stations with Rescue 80 being returned prior to arrival at the incident location.
