Friday August, 12 2011 @ 16:05:08 Nature: Vehicle Accident BLS Address: Plaza Dr & John J Williams Hwy Millsboro, DE 19966 On Friday afternoon of August 12th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a multiple vehicle collision on John J. Williams Highway in the vicinity of Plaza Drive. It was reported to be three vehicles as the result of an initial rear end collision. It appears that a maroon 4-door Toyota Camry was traveling west on John J. Williams and collided with a silver 4-door KIA SUV that then struck a black Chevrolet Pick-up that sideswiped a fencing parallel to the intersection. Emergency response crews included Engine #80-5 from the Long Neck facility and Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility. All units were assigned to coordinate traffic control, vehicle stabilization and vehicle fluid mitigation for the incident. The Delaware State Fire Police provided traffic control assistance and the Delaware State Police are investigating the incident.
