Nature: Professional Development Training – Fire Extinguishers

Location: Pot Nets Bayside

On Thursday, April 18, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company provided a fire extinguisher training initiative for approximately forty-two (42) employees of the Pot Nets Company.

 This training initiative provided an overview and operational characteristics of a fire extinguisher before an actual hands-on training exercises commenced with live burn evolutions in a burn tray.

 Additionally, various other fire prevention and fire safety topics were discussed with distribution of approximately 63 smoke detectors for residential households.
