Nature: A Day to Say Thanks & Honor First Responders

City: Selbyville

On Sunday, March 3rd, the Peninsula Community Church of Selbyville hosted an event to celebrate, honor, and thank area first responders during the Sunday Worship Time.

Give Honor Where Honor Is Due

Romans 13:7:    Pay to all what is owed to them:  taxes to whom taxes are owed, revenue to whom revenue to whom revenue is owed, respect to whom respect is owed, honor to whom honor is owed.

Today, March 3rd, the Peninsula Community Church of Selbyille welcomed all of our first responders in our service today.  We honor you and thank you for your service to our community and the citizens of our area.  We are grateful for our Firefighters, EMS personnel, Paramedics, Police, Fire Department Chaplains, Dispatchers, and more.

Indian River requested representatives to attend and our Fire Prevention Co-Chairs Robert Marmor and Roxanne Bammer attended with much excitement.

Illustrated herewith are photographs of the event.

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company would like to acknowledge the Peninsula Community Church for organizing this recognition effort.
