Monday June, 13 2011 @ 11:29:14 Nature: Electrical Fire Address: 25347 Banks Rd Millsboro, DE 19966 On Monday morning, June 13th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an electrical fire in a residential manufactured home on Banks Road near Rudder Road. Ladder 80 and Engine #80-1 responded from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 responded from the Long Neck facility. Chief Steven Deery was the incident commander and requested for an interior and exterior evaluation of the residential structured be completed with an additional request for thermal imaging cameras to be deployed to further assist with the evaluation. The residential occupants of the structure had indicated that an odor of smoke we prevalent inside the structure. Upon evaluation it was determined to be a malfunctioning air conditioner handling unit on the exterior of the structure.
