Saturday May, 21 2011 @ 14:22:23 Nature: Appliance Fire Address: 36813 Teal Rd, Pot Nets Dockside, Millsboro, DE 19966 On Saturday afternoon, May 21st, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an appliance fire on Teal Road, Pot Nets Dockside off of Long Neck Road. It was reported that a central air conditioning unit was on fire and extinguished; however, a desire to the facility evaluated was requested by the property owner. Engine #80-1 from our Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from our Long Neck facility responded to the incident. Incident Command was assumed by Ryan Mock who requested that Engine#80-3 evaluate the interior and exterior of the structure and Engine #80-1 was assigned to bring an additional thermal imaging camera for further evaluation. A HVAC service person was present at the scene location when emergency response units departed.
