Tuesday, May, 17 2011 @ 19:00 Nature: EMS Conference 2011 Sponsored by LifeNet of Delaware & Christiana Care On Tuesday evening, May 17th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company hosted Life Net of Delaware and Christiana Care which presented the EMS Conference 2011 in Sussex County, Delaware. The topics to be presented at the EMS Conference include: First Aid Basics: “The Truth vs. Myths” by Brian Levine, MD; Pediatric Immobilization by Steve Krivanich, RN, CFRN, EMT-P; and Forensic Evidence Collection by Pam Woods, RN, MSN, CEN, Trauma Coordinator. The light dinner was prepared by the Ladies Auxiliary of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. The event did permit the attendees to obtained 3 continuing education units (CEUs) for the states of Delaware, Pennsylvania and Maryland.
