Tuesday May, 10 2011 @ 18:37:06 Nature: Brush Fire Address: 31247 Barnacle Blvd Millsboro, DE 19966 On Tuesday evening, May 10th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a brush (grass) fire on Barnacle Blvd off of Layton Davis Road. Fire Captain Brian Morley responded directly to the incident location and identify that the best access would be from Sylvester’s Lane off of Layton David Road and there was a small grass fire that covered a small area. All other responding apparatus was held at the respective station. Brush #80-00 was directed to the incident location and used the booster line to suppress and soak the area. Approximately 50 gallons of water was utilized. The origin of the incident was undetermined.
