Monday May, 2 2011 @ 15:47:10 Nature: Wash down (Fuel Spill) Location: PD 10-10 Address: Long Neck Rd & John J Williams area of Food Millsboro, DE 19966 On Monday afternoon, May 2nd, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a wash down assignment as a result of a property damage vehicle collision on John J. Williams Highway near the intersection of Long Neck Road. It appears that a silver Chevrolet Malibu sedan was traveling east and collided with a black Chevrolet Pick Up near the Dash In / Food Lion entrances. The Chevrolet sedan suffered extensive front end damage causing signification fluid leakage onto the roadway surface. Engine #80-3 responded from the Long Neck Facility while Rescue 80 responded from the Oak Orchard facility. The Delaware State Fire Police provided traffic control assistance while the Delaware State Police conducted their traffic accident investigation.
