Sunday April, 24 2011 @ 02:26:21 Nature: Vehicle Fire Location: Pot Nets Bayside Address: 34646 Long Neck Rd, Millsboro, DE 19966 Early Sunday morning, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a car vehicle on Long Neck Road. It appears that the vehicle was traveling south on Long Neck Road and caught fire for an unknown reason at this time. Upon arrival of emergency response apparatus, the vehicle was fully involved with fire. Engine #80-3 was the first arriving apparatus and quickly initiated an aggressive fire suppression attack with an 1¾” hose line. Engine #80-5, Engine #80-1 and Rescue 80 were returned to their respective stations after the incident was placed under control by Duty Officer Hayden Klingler. The vehicle was in motion at the time of the incident; therefore, the Delaware State Police are investigating this incident. There were no reported injuries.
