Saturday, March, 12 2011 Nature: Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser Location: Oak Orchard Road – Main Station On Tuesday evening, March 12th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary hosted a Spaghetti Dinner to our community residents. This event was generated as a desire to create funding for the local Girl Scout Troop operations and to fulfill Indian River's community service objectives by assisting other non-profit entities. The Spaghetti Dinner was considered an overall success with serving approximately 400 people. The event was well attended and required many patrons to encountered substantial delays in order to meet the production backlog. The menu included spaghetti, meatballs, salads, bread, assorted desserts and beverages. The Ladies Auxiliary wishes to acknowledge the patrons and community for their overall support as well as acknowledging the assistance of the Girl Scouts during this initiative.
